Meet Alicia Scoblic, LMSW, CSW-Intern
A therapist who believes real healing starts with authenticity
Some people instantly make you feel at ease. Not because they’re trying to, but because they’re genuinely themselves.
That’s Alicia.
If you were being introduced to her by a friend, you’d probably hear something like this:
“She’s smart, deeply grounded, not fazed by real life, and she actually listens. You don’t have to clean yourself up before you walk into the room.”
Alicia Scoblic, LMSW, CSW-Intern, is one of those clinicians who blends professionalism with humanity in a way that feels rare and relieving. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada Reno and brings years of experience working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families across a wide range of settings.
Her areas of focus include anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, PTSD, stress management, and relationship challenges. But what truly defines her work is not a list of specialties, it’s how she shows up in the room.
Therapy that feels collaborative, not clinical
Alicia approaches therapy with curiosity and collaboration. She honors each client as a multifaceted human being, not a diagnosis or a checklist. Sessions are grounded, respectful, and centered on your lived experience.
Her therapeutic style integrates person-centered and trauma-focused care, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, attachment-based approaches, and somatic work, with elements of CBT and DBT woven in thoughtfully. Translation: therapy that meets both your nervous system and your mind where they are.
Clients often appreciate that Alicia does not require perfection or polish. She shows up authentically herself, often in jeans and sneakers, and welcomes authenticity from the people she works with. Strong language included. Life is real, and therapy doesn’t need to pretend otherwise.
Experience rooted in depth and compassion
Before stepping into individual and couples therapy, Alicia spent seven years working as a case manager, including experience in child protective services. She has also facilitated group therapy for adolescents and adults in a psychiatric hospital outpatient program.
Those experiences matter. They shape how she understands complexity, resilience, and the many layers people carry into the therapy space. Her work is informed by real-world exposure to crisis, systems, and healing, not just theory.
She works with clients ages 12 and up and has a particular heart for adolescents and adults navigating identity, relationships, and emotional overwhelm.
Why she does this work
Alicia was drawn to the mental health field because she believes deeply in the healing power of therapy and in people’s capacity to change in meaningful, lasting ways.
At the core of her work is a simple but powerful intention, to help people feel less alone and more understood. She supports clients as they develop insight, build skills, and move through life in ways that feel authentic and aligned with who they truly are.
Therapy with Alicia is not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about honoring what’s already there and creating space for growth.
The human behind the clinician
Outside of the therapy room, Alicia enjoys puzzles, baking sweet treats, and getting lost in mystery audiobooks and work-related podcasts. She grew up in Alaska and has called Las Vegas home for nearly seven years.
She is also a lifelong learner. In the coming years, Alicia plans to continue expanding her clinical training, deepening her trauma-informed lens, and integrating additional evidence-based approaches so she can better serve clients with evolving and diverse needs.
A note for potential clients
If Alicia could share one message with you before you ever book a session, it would be this:
Therapy is a collaborative process centered on your needs, experiences, and perspectives. You deserve a space where your story is valued, where you are met with respect, and where growth happens at your pace.
At Clear Mind Counseling, Alicia offers exactly that, a grounded, human place to begin. Meet Alicia Scoblic, LMSW, CSW-Intern
